Vegetable Korma

Ingredients

2 tbsp Cooking Oil or Ghee

1 tsp Turmeric Powder/Haldi

2 tsp Salt or as per taste

1 tsp crushed Ginger/Ginger Paste

1 tsp crushed Garlic/Garlic Paste

1 medium Onion, finely chopped
-
1 medium Tomato, finely chopped

500g mixed Vegetables/diced Chicken or Lamb or any other meat

2 tbsp South Indian Korma Masala
-
5 - 6 sprigs chopped Coriander Leaves

1 cup whisked Yoghurt or 150ml Coconut Milk
-
150 - 200ml Water or as per required consistency

2 tbsp Lemon Juice (optional)
Directions
Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion, cook until it turns translucent
Add salt and Spice Tree Turmeric Powder, stir
Add garlic and ginger, stir
Add chopped tomato, stir and cook for 3 - 4 minutes
Add Spice Tree Korma Masala, stir well
Add mixed Vegetables/diced Chicken or Lamb or any other meat
Add whisked yoghurt or coconut milk and stir well, gently
Based on required consistency, add water
Cook for approximately 15 minutes or until the vegetables/meat have reached preferred doneness
Once done, take off heat and add chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice
