Ingredients

3 tbsp ghee or cooking oil

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

1 finely chopped onion

1 tsp ginger paste

1 tsp garlic paste
-
2 chopped tomatoes or 100ml tomato puree

2 tbsp Spice Tree Dal Fry Masala

1 bunch spinach (blanched for 15 mins and then blended)

300g paneer (cut into cubes)

50ml fresh cream (optional)

1 tsp salt
-
50-100ml water (or according to consistency)
Directions
Heat ghee or cooking oil in a pot
Add cumin seeds and stir, allowing them to sputter
Add onion, ginger and garlic paste and stir
After onion turns translucent, add salt and tomatoes or tomato puree and cook for 10 mins
Add Spice Tree Dal Fry Masala and stir
Add blended spinach and water, cook on medium heat and bring to boil
Add paneer while the curry is boiling
Add fresh cream and cook for further 5-7 mins
Enjoy with hot basmati rice and or fresh rotis/naan
